Begin your journey with a short domestic flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Dalat, a charming highland town known for its cool climate, pine forests, and French colonial villas.

Upon arrival at Lien Khuong Airport, you’ll be met by your driver and guide and transferred to the city centre. After check-in at your hotel, take time to relax before your first introduction to local life with a visit to the Dalat Market – a lively spot filled with fresh produce, local snacks, and colourful flowers. The market is also a great place to try regional specialities or shop for souvenirs.

Return to your hotel for overnight accommodation in Dalat.

Day 2: Dalat Orientation – Cloud Hunting, Cable Car Ride & City Highlights

Optional Experience: Begin your day with an early morning cloud-hunting tour. Depart at 4:30 AM to reach one of Dalat’s hillside viewpoints, where the rolling fog and golden sunrise create a magical landscape. After this serene start, return to your hotel for a full breakfast.

Next, embark on a scenic cable car ride to Truc Lam Zen Monastery, a peaceful temple surrounded by manicured flower gardens and panoramic views of Tuyen Lam Lake. Descend to the lakeside and enjoy a short walk along the shorelines.

Continue your city tour with a visit to Bao Dai’s Summer Palace, the former residence of Vietnam’s last emperor. Explore the beautifully preserved Art Deco architecture, personal artefacts, and royal chambers that reflect the lifestyle of the imperial family during their stay in Dalat.

Begin with a visit to a cricket farm (seasonal). Here you’ll learn how locals breed crickets for food and even sample the regional delicacies: crispy fried crickets and cricket wine, locally believed to have health-boosting properties.

Continue to a nearby silkworm factory, where you’ll see the full process of silk production – from raising silkworms to weaving delicate silk fabric. Afterwards, head to a coffee plantation and enjoy a cup of locally grown Dalat coffee, renowned for its smooth flavour and aroma.

Enjoy a Vietnamese lunch at a countryside restaurant, surrounded by nature.

In the afternoon, visit an organic flower farm, a favourite for nature lovers and photographers, showcasing how Dalat’s cool climate nurtures vibrant and sustainable floral varieties.

Conclude the day with a stop at the impressive Elephant Waterfall, where powerful cascades rush through jungle surroundings. Afterward, return to your hotel in Dalat for rest and overnight stay.

Day 4: Dalat – Return to Ho Chi Minh City

After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning at your own pace. You may take a walk around Xuan Huong Lake, visit a nearby café, or simply relax at the hotel.

At the appointed time, your driver will pick you up for the return transfer to Lien Khuong Airport, where you’ll board your flight back to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive in the afternoon and continue your onward journey.
