Travel south from Hanoi to Cuc Phuong National Park. Walk a suitable forest trail and, subject to access and opening hours, learn about conservation at the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre and Turtle Conservation Centre. The Cave of Prehistoric Man or other nature stops may be included if time and conditions allow. Continue to the agreed overnight base in the Ninh Binh area.

Day 4Ninh Binh – Tam Coc, Rural Scenery and Optional Viewpoints
Enjoy a rowing-boat journey through Tam Coc's river and karst scenery. Depending on the family's energy and the day's conditions, add a countryside cycle ride or the climb to the Mua Cave viewpoint; the steps are steep and the climb is optional. A visit to Van Long Wetland Nature Reserve can replace another stop or be added only if the day's travel time allows. Confirm the preferred pace with Haivenu in advance.

Is this itinerary suitable for young children or grandparents?
It can be tailored, but it includes long transfers, boat trips, a sleeper train and optional cycling and steep steps at Mua Cave. Tell Haivenu the ages, mobility needs and preferred daily pace of every traveller. Activities may be shortened, substituted or removed before quotation.
Is this a private tour?
Land transfers and guided experiences can be arranged privately as specified in your quote. The overnight Bai Tu Long Bay cruise normally operates on a shared vessel, with a private cabin for your family. A fully exclusive cruise is not implied.
Are hotels and the Da Nang beach stay included?
The day-by-day plan shows likely overnight bases, but the current tour does not specify contracted land hotels. Haivenu will list every included hotel, room category and number of nights in the final quote. The tour ends on Day 8 in Da Nang; a Da Nang overnight stay and beach extension are excluded unless added.
How demanding is Mua Cave and can we skip activities?
Mua Cave's viewpoint requires climbing a long, steep staircase, and cycling or kayaking may not suit all ages. These are optional or operator-restricted activities. Ask to replace them with easier alternatives and more rest time.
Are cruise activities guaranteed?
No. Cruise stops, kayaking, village visits and swimming depend on the actual vessel, weather, tide, permission and operator rules, including minimum-age requirements. Haivenu will confirm the booked cruise programme before payment.
Are meals suitable for children and food allergies?
Please share any allergies, vegetarian preferences or child-friendly meal requests before booking. Haivenu will check what the restaurants and cruise supplier can provide; no allergy-free environment can be guaranteed. The final quote lists included meals.
What is the sleeper train arrangement?
The plan uses an overnight train from Hanoi to Hue. Train schedule, sleeper berth class, availability, private-compartment requests and connections to the cruise transfer are subject to confirmation. An alternative journey can be discussed if the train is not suitable.
Do we need a visa for Vietnam?
